Consider approval of Chapter 41 agreement as a precaution that the SMSD will need to enter into an agreement as a result of the impact of HB3 and delegating the authority to contractual authority to obligate the school district under Texas Education Code (TEC) §11.1511(c)(4) to the superintendent, solely for the purpose of obligating the district under TEC, §48.257 and TEC, Chapter 49, Subchapters A and D, and the rules adopted by the commissioner of education as authorized under TEC, 49.006. This included approval of the Agreement for the Purchase of Attendance Credit or the Agreement for the Purchase of Attendance Credit (Netting Chapter 48 Funding).
Consider amendment # 2 to the Interlocal agreement with Harris County Department of Education for technical business services to include a fee schedule for human resource and accounting services with no change in total amount of contract.

Consider approval of (1) FTE position for a Purchasing Specialist for the Business Office to address all procurement matters related to school district purchases and related compliance matters.
